Ann-Marie Finn is an illustrator and author of children's books. She lives in Brisbane with her two young boys who inspire new stories and ideas every day. She started her career in the UK, but migrated to warmer climates in and is now a happy Australian and proud owner of The Mad Hatters Bookshop in Manly, Queensland.

The Illustrators are a graphic design and illustration company in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth. Our work has been published by Warner Bros, BHP, 7-Eleven and Australian Government. Benjamin recently was a finalist in a book cover design competition run by Murdoch Books and he has been commissioned for a number of Commercial illustration projects. The award-winning picture book by Mem Fox brings to life two possums and the best bush magic in Australia.

Possum Magic was first published ingrabbing the hearts of many as Grandma Poss tries to keep Hush protected from the dangers of the Aussie bush. However, after being made invisible, Hush starts wanting to see herself : Ellie Griffiths.

We're seeking original illustrations from Australian school-aged students (aged 5 - 18) to publish in a unique picture book by the team at Wombat Books.

The Challenge has been established in order to provide aspiring young illustrators with the opportunity to be published in a professionally produced children's book and gain an introduction.

I wanted to email you both together now the illustrations are done and I've sent the book to print just to say thank you. It was lovely working with you both and made the commissioning process so straightforward.

And of course, we're all thrilled with the illustrations and can't wait to see them in the final book. They really are wonderful pieces. Illustrators may submit their portfolios to Wombat Books.
